i haven’t updated in a while. That isn’t because i haven’t been doing GOOD things, I just haven’t had much time.

A GOOD thing I’ve been doing recently is doing some illustrations for a charity who look after children who’ve been diagnosed HIV positive. It’s really rewarding.

More details soon I hope.

My dear beautiful followers, in case you didn’t already know. my friend Geofferino and I are currently running a project called Haitees. It began in January, as a reaction to the horrific earthquake that tore the island of Haiti apart, leaving thousands dead and even more homeless, without the bare essentials they needed. Being students, we didn’t have much money to donate ourselves, so we found our own way to do our bit. We’ve invited our favourite designers to donate their beautiful designs, which we then forward to Mysoti.com who print them onto beautiful tee shirts for us. ALL of the profit goes straight to the Red Cross who’s efforts in Haiti have been making a massive difference, but are still very much needed, especially coming into the storm season.

This was a good thing I did!

Last weekend I travelled to Loughborough to sing at my friend’s mum’s 50th birthday. I was a surprise - no one had told her I was going to be singing for her, and the lovely thing was she had specifically requested me a few months earlier! It was a lovely day and the band was paid in free pimms and BBQ food! Yays!

The photo is off me and Chris (it was his mum that was 50, he is also the most awesome-est guitar-player in ever ever) having a soundcheck in the beautiful garden which was our stage ^_^

I’d really like Liam to reach his target, so please donate whatever you can - even if it’s PENNIES!! it all adds up. PLEASE DONATE!!!!!!!!

Proceeds from this fund will support work that helps the communities most affected by the oil spill in Plaquemines, St. Bernard, and lower Jefferson Parishes.  As for long-term recovery efforts, the Gulf Coast Oil Spill Fund will help strengthen coastal communities against future environmental catastrophes such as BP’s Horizon oil spill which occurred on April 20, 2010.
